Gunshot wound in right fore arm, was hit by a ball on the 8th September 1855 before Sebastopol. Caused by military service and not the result of indulgence in the use of intoxicating liquers or other vices. Unfit for further service.
Additional note: Gunshot wound thro’ right forearm at its upper third apparently grazing the radius. He also has a scar on the radial aspect of this fore arm lower down from a wound he says he received previously. Seems to have good use of the extremity.
