This man received a grapeshot wound of the left arm, high up, shattering the bone, in action on 8th Sept 1855. He has very little use of the arm now. The bone was not broken across but it was grazed by the shot and a fracture has exfoliated. Partial fracture of the humerus. Unfit for further service.
